UN Youth Year: Sex, Drugs, Hobbies?

The official UN Youth Year Facebook page is asking for input on what youth would like to discuss most in a non-formal setting. Priority items are sex, drugs, friends, and hobbies. On Twitter they ask:

#Sex, #drugs,friends,hobbies..What topic would you discuss in a non-formal education envrmt rather than in a formal 1? goo.gl/YS2ZG

Such prioritization is not strange activity for the UN. Today marks the beginning of their Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights campaign, 10 Days of Activism. The campaign is part of UNFPA’s youth program Y-PEER, which is promoting youth abortion access as a right and decriminalization of injected-drugs and prostitution. Find out more about it here.
