Mugged by Ultrasound

It is January and so it is appropriate to recommend the essay, “Mugged by Ultrasound” in this week’s Weekly Standard. Authors Jon Shields and David Daleiden recount (all too vividly) how the combination of dilation and evacuation and ultrasounds has caused anguish and horror for abortionists and their nurses. Since I recently delivered my first child I find these stories harder, much much harder, to read. But it is January and a fitting time to remember what exactly it is that we are talking about.
