Are they coming for our daughters?

The UN just announced the Year of Youth or some such thing which will culminate in a global conference on youth. We have reported on this extensively in the Friday Fax and here at UN Blog. I have noticed a plethora of newish website specifically targeting adolescent girls that have been started by the sexual left.

Here is one called The Girl Effect.

Here is GirlUp.

Here is the Coalition for Adolescent Girls.

Now, the first thing you notice about these sites is how professional they are, certainly not created by adolescent girls but by adults who want to corrupt them. The second thing you notice is how similar they are. Similar look and feel and read. Then, notice the links. The Girl Effect is linked to a number of pro-abortion initiatives including The Population Concil, The White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood (yes, they are pro-abortion), and the International Center for Research on Women.
