EU: Gay politicians “deeply worried” over civil society

By J.C. von Krempach, J.D. | June 28, 2012

As the EU Observer reports today, the European gay rights lobby and its allies are deeply worried about the fact that the opponents of their radical agenda appear to win increasing donor support and media attention.

This begs for explanation. Experts who have been consulted on the matter have quickly discarded the hypothesis that the increasing popularity of organizations such as European Dignity Watch, and the donations they receive, might be due to the fact that the general public generally sympathizes with values such as human dignity, the sanctity of life, the family, or social justice. Instead, they have found out that (horribile dictu!!!) “American money is fuelling the anti-gay lobby in Brussels”! A sinister plot of “neo-conservative funds and think-tanks” who “want to export the (American) culture wars to Europe, along with an ultra-conservative agenda”! The Counter-Revolution is marching!!!

Obviously, for Michael Cashman, the chairman of a network of homosexual politicians whose vague aspersions of wrong-doing and “lack of transparency” are extensively quoted in the article, the thought that outside the corridors of power there exists a real civil society with real supporters must be utterly disturbing and worrying. In the bizarre sub-culture he is living in, “civil society” consists of groups such as “ILGA Europe“, who receive 70% of their budget as operative grants from the European Commission (i.e. from taxpayers who neither are aware of, nor approve, the fact that their money is used to finance campaigns that promote decadence and perversion), and the remaining 30% from George Soros and two other millionaires.
