Spain Needs a New Constitution

In Spain, the Constitutional Court has irremediably devalued the Constitution of which it was supposed to be the guardian by stating that the law that allows same-sex marriage was not unconstitutional.

Zapatero

For a country that, due to the gross mismanagement of its political class (including, but not only, the radical left-wing and anti-humanist government led by Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero), is going through yet another severe political crisis, this is bad news. As every reasonable person knows, accepting “same-sex marriages” means to fundamentally change the meaning of “marriage”, with the result that marriage in the true and natural sense has no legal existence any more. In introducing “same-sex marriage”, the Zapatero government has destroyed the basic unit of society, and the Constitutional Court has now confirmed this silly and self-destructive decision.

Given the renewed outbreaks of secessionism in some of the country’s regions, the risk is great that the country might disintegrate. But what will remain of society, when both the State and the family are breaking down?
