Abortion drives a city’s demographic winter

This Baltimore Sun article asserts that given the numbers abortion advocates and foes alike can agree that abortion is the cause of the city’s decline. The author, a professor of political science, sees the case as  a fulfillment of Montesquieu’s dictum that “the chief cause [of depopulation] is to be found in a change of customs.”
