Dr Anthony Levantino, an OBGYN of 30yrs who performed 1,200 abortions testified before congress that abortion in the second trimester or later is not medically necessary to save women’s lives. He siad that in many situations he encountered abortion would carry more complications than delivering a baby. See the LifeNews report.
