Commissioner Reding’s gender quotas: have your say!

By J.C. von Krempach, J.D. | March 8, 2012

Rather than directly proposing controversial new regulation that would foresee compulsory fixed gender quotas for company boards, EU Commissioner Reding has now launched a public consultation on the issue. You can participate in it by filling in the questionnaire you find under this link.

For your ease, we have prepared a standard reply:
Proposed Reply to Consultation on Gender Quotas

You may send it to either of the following addresses:

By the way, the Swiss daily Tagesanzeiger reported just the other day that in Norway (currently the only country where gender quotas are compulsory) the profitability of the companies concerned has been reduced by 4.1%.
