European Central Bank: Migrants could stem Europe’s “demographic suicide”
A top European Central Bank official leaned into the migration debate. If not, we’re creating a great difficulty to growth and to the welfare of future generations.”
Along with the long term economic impact, the refugees may bring far reaching cultural influence to the continent. IBT reported this week Saudi Arabia’s offer to build fund mosques in Europe to accommodate the largely Muslim population in what has become the largest human migration since the Second World War.
