Give them Condoms!

If only women in sub-saharan Africa would finally stop having more than 3 children each… This is what the head of the UNFPA just communicated to UN member states at a UN meeting on migration and development, in more politically correct terms. 

Ensuring the choices of women with regards their reproductive health will help solve the migration problems of the world, according to Dr. Babatunde Osotimehin, who has headed UNFPA since 2010. Babatunde (as he is known) recommends solving the problem of migration by eliminating migrants all together. During his 10min speech at the meeting this morning he mentioned “sexual and reproductive health and rights” or similar terms over 8 times, nothing else had that many mentions.

Don’t worry about water, sanitation, health care, education, training, and other important needs of migrants. Just give them condoms and abortion! I am not sure he understood how racist that sounded when he said it. Never mind that condom campaigns has failed miserably to reduce HIV/AIDS contagion and has had little if no impact on fertility in Africa. Give them condoms.
