IPPF gets new director

IPPF announced that Gill Greer is out and Tewodros Melesse is in as the new director-general. Melesse steps into the position as head of the world’s largest abortion provider from his job as IPPF’s Africa director.
According to IPPF, Melesse, an Ethiopian national and graduate of the Catholic University in Louvain, was instrumental in implementing the Maputo Protocol, infamous for claiming that abortion is a human right.
