IPPF’s Big Earthquake Haul: Half a Million for Haitian Abortions, Courtesy of Hewlett Foundation

Hewlett FoundationAs if you would think people would never take International Planned Parenthood Federation’s (IPPF) call for funds to pay for sexual and reproductive healthcare seriously, today the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation announced that they gave IPPF an “emergency grant” of $500,000.

Sara Seims, head of the Population Program at the Foundation proudly states:

We’re lucky to be able to support an organization that has deep experience in the field, so it can immediately make a difference and ease the suffering.

While C-FAM has no doubt that IPPF has plenty of experience in providing abortions. We would once again like to submit that there are much more effective and loving ways of easing peoples suffering.
