Pro-Gay members of European Parliament find democracy “distasteful”

In the Slovak Republic, the Constitutional Court has given its green light for a referendum that would insert into the country’s constitution a clarification that marriage is only between a man and a woman.

The referendum is the compulsory legal consequence of a successful petition, in which more than 400.000 Slovaks (more than 10% of the electorate) required such a vote to be held. A part of the referendum is redundant now, as the Parliament has already adopted the required definition of “marriage” while the petition was still on-going. But in addition to this, the referendum will address two further issues of great importance: Slovaks will vote on a proposed amendment to constitutionally rule out adoptions by homosexual couples and on a provision that would clarify that parents have the right to opt their children out of sexual education classes.

As was to be expected, the sodomist pressure group inside the European Parliament is furious. While they had no problem with narrow parliamentary majorities redefining marriage to include same-sex “marriages” in France, Spain, and other countries (usually without the matter having been discussed in the preceding electoral campaigns…), they abhor the idea that ordinary people should have their say on the matter. Sophie in ‘t Veld, a Dutch MEP and leader of the homosexualist and pro-abortion lobby, described the forthcoming referendum as “distasteful”, thereby betraying her own rather selective adherence to human rights and democratic procedures.

We, however, are looking forward to the outcome of this democratic vote.
