C-Fam Submission for HHS World Health Assembly Listening Session
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services held a listening session on Friday, May 11 in advance of the World Health Assembly, the decision-making body for the World Health Organization (WHO). Members of civil society were invited to tell the administration about their concerns and priorities for the coming year in global health, and the state of WHO governance.
In addition to an oral statement delivered at the listening session, C-Fam submitted a written statement encouraging the Trump administration to continue its pro-life policies and hold the WHO accountable to its mandate.
