Five Worst Moments of the Year
NEW YORK, December 22 (C-Fam) Here are the worst moments of the year 2023 in review. Some are real doozies. They will have implications for the next decade and beyond.
The General Assembly elected controversial Columbia Law School Professor Sarah Cleveland to the International Court of Justice. She is a pro-abortion activist and a globalist who pressured countries to make abortion legal and adopt homosexual/trans policies. Her views are so extreme the U.S. Senate broke with protocol to block her nomination to a top job in the Biden administration. In her new role at the International Court of Justice Cleveland will be able to declare abortion, transgender policies for minors, and homosexual marriage as international human rights. The political leaders of the world’s poorest countries signed the Samoa Agreement with the European Union. It requires 79 African, Caribbean, and Pacific countries to adopt domestic policies that reflect European values and to align with the European Union at the United Nations. According to the EU Commission, EU values include on abortion, homosexuality, transgender issues, sexuality for children, and many others. If the poor countries don’t go along with EU policy the Europeans will impose an economic embargo.
3. U.S. is secretly pushing an international right to abortion in the new pandemic treaty.
U.S. Ambassador Pamela K. Hamamoto called for the new World Health Organization pandemic treaty to include an obligation to provide “sexual and reproductive health services” as essential when negotiations on the treaty began in February. Hamamoto agreed with China that negotiations of the treaty should take place in secret. The treaty’s effect will be mostly bureaucratic. That is all the more reason for concern. The World Health Organization, which would receive more power and money from the treaty, is the world’s leading abortion promoter.
President Biden plans to relegate conservatives to virtual gulags. He is launching new digital tools of repression under the rubric of “safeguards” against discrimination, bias, and disinformation and “rights-affirming” approaches in technology design. He wants the standards promulgated by the United Nations and then adopted by tech companies voluntarily. Biden officials have already asked UN agencies and other governments to fight “anti-rights” and “anti-gender” movements and UN officials are already calling for conservatives to be cancelled.
5. Biden made homosexual/trans issues part of U.S. security policy and democracy promotion.
The Biden administration wants war in the name of homosexual/trans issues and to prosecute anyone who disagrees of crimes against humanity. This is the highest priority of the Biden administration. This is not speculation. Samantha Power, Biden’s USAID administrator, said the war in Ukraine was about homosexual/trans issues at the Atlantic Council.
Finally, we would be remiss not to mention a very scary example of where the woke gender madness is headed. A Mexican tribunal found former congressman Rodrigo Iván Cortés, a friend of C-Fam, guilty of gender-based political violence for referring to transgender congressman Salma Luévano as a “man who self-identifies as a woman.”
