The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has a relatively uncontroversial mandate: to help children in need around the world.  However, a closer look at their work, materials, and partnerships reveals troubling trends. While issues such as abortion, gender ideology, and comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) remain highly controversial in the UN General Assembly and other parts of the UN that work based on consensus between member states, they have become widespread across the work of the UN’s specialized agencies and funds, including UNICEF.

The Center for Family and Human Rights (C-Fam) is a nongovernmental organization that was founded in 1997 and has held Special Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council since 2014. We are headquartered in New York and Washington, D.C., and are a nonprofit, nonpartisan research and advocacy organization that is dedicated to reestablishing a proper understanding of international law, protecting national sovereignty, and the dignity of the human person.

US Human Rights Report Leaves Out LGBTs.

NEW YORK, August 15 (C-Fam) The just released U.S. Annual Human Rights Report has omitted references to homosexual/trans. Leading homosexual/trans advocacy group calls the pending report “a travesty and subversion of Congressional intent.”

The Trump administration confirmed reports that $10 million in contraceptives and abortifacients could be destroyed. Global abortion groups and the United Nations Population Fund were denied requests to purchase the contraceptives due to current U.S. policy that prohibits funding to organizations that promote and perform abortion overseas.
